Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of specialty experience for a 13-week assignment in Owatonna, MN.
Details
- Work in the CT Scan department of a hospital setting
- 36 hours per week, mostly day shifts with variation based on department needs
- Every other weekend requires 12-hour day shifts
- 3 shifts per week averaging 12 hours per day
- Must be flexible to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to on-call pager including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Uses Siemens CT scanning equipment, Bayer Medrad Injector, and performs general imaging and venipuncture
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- ARRT certification in Radiography required
- ARRT certification in CT required
- BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CT required
- State licensure required if applicable
- CT and X-ray experience required
- Strong organizational, multifunctional, and independent work skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Additional Information
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images meeting facility radiology standards for physician interpretation
- Maintain competency across a variety of imaging equipment and technologies
- Follow proper safety guidelines for self, support staff, and patients
- Foster teamwork through effective communication with the care team
- Maintain flexibility to work across various locations, shift times, and shift lengths as needed
- COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
- Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
