Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring CO or compact RN licensure and current IR experience.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 150-bed hospital
- Day shift staffing includes 2 IR RNs and 2 IR Techs, with night shift covered by on-call staff
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Uses Siemens single plane C-arm equipment
- Meditech EMR system used
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus call
- On-call required 5P-7A on weeknights and 24 hours on weekends, approximately 7-9 shifts per month
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care IR RN experience required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Good vascular access skills preferred
- PICC line or midline experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, LVO, FNA, midline and PICC line placement, kyphoplasty, and PE thrombectomy
- Provide vascular access, conscious sedation, and critical care support
- IR department works closely with Imaging departments
- Supportive leadership team that fosters collaboration and celebrates team success
