Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a Nursing Float Pool position at a Trauma Level I facility requiring 2-5 years of ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work within the Nursing Float Pool at a Trauma Level I hospital
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, working every other weekend
• Shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Will float as needed to ICU and PCU
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ASN required
• 2-5 years of ICU experience required
• Trauma Level I facility experience preferred, though candidates with Trauma Level II experience may be considered
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Tele/ECG and Medication test administered on first day (pass/fail, failure may result in assignment termination)

Additional Information

• Deliver ICU-level nursing care with flexibility to float to PCU as needed
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
