Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2-5 years of ICU experience and a current MA RN license.

Details

• ICU position within the Nursing Float Pool
• 12-hour night shift schedule, every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Will float as needed to ICU and PCU
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Current MA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ASN required
• 2-5 years of ICU experience required
• Trauma Level I facility experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience may be considered
• EPIC experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide ICU-level nursing care with floating responsibilities to PCU as needed
• Tele/ECG and medication competency test administered on first day, pass/fail, with failure potentially resulting in assignment termination
• Required vaccinations include COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, with medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health (perm, per diem, or travel) for at least 6 months before returning
