Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute rehabilitation unit assignment.
Details
- >Acute Rehabilitation Unit setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited Occupational Therapy program required
- Master's degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited program highly desired
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience in a US hospital setting required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- DC license required, if applicable
- Active license required, no pending licenses accepted
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Additional Information
- Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive occupational therapy services
- Perform detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs following physician referral
- Develop age-appropriate, comprehensive plans of care based on evaluation findings
- Accurately and appropriately document all patient treatment
- Must be able to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility
