Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuroscience and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit position requiring MD or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years' neuro med-surg experience.
Details
- Work in the Neurosurgery/Neurology Unit specializing in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of intractable seizure disorders
- Med-Surg/Telemetry patient population with a focus on neurology cases
- Rotating shift schedule (7A/7P)
- Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years' neuro med-surg experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
Additional Information
- Provide direct care to patients with complex and intellectually challenging neurological and neurosurgical conditions
- Work alongside a specialized team treating patients from around the globe seeking innovative therapies and technologies for nervous system diseases
