Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Surgery Step-Down Unit (CSSU) position requiring 2 years of specialty experience and a NH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Surgery Step-Down Unit (CSSU)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in CSSU or related specialty
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri assignments)

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery in a step-down unit setting
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
