Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Adult Medical Oncology ICU position requiring critical care skills with central/arterial lines and vasopressor titration.

Details

• Work in a mixed ICU/Floor Level Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Adult Medical Oncology ICU treating Bone Marrow Transplant, Hematologic, and Solid Tumor Malignancy patients
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Required to work every other weekend
• Holiday coverage as needed by the unit
• No on-call responsibilities
• Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• ICU experience required, including central line and arterial line management
• Experience titrating vasopressor medications required
• Experience managing patients with cardiac monitoring required
• Acute Care/Telemetry experience required
• Oncology experience preferred
• Alaris pump experience preferred
• CRRT experience preferred
• Critical Care Certification preferred
• Trauma course completion preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ beds) required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care and oncology nursing support to adult bone marrow transplant patients in a mixed ICU/floor-level setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
