Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist requiring ARRT certification, a TX license, and prior travel experience.
Details
- Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Adult diagnostic catheterization patient population
- Procedures include Impella insertion, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, rotablator atherectomy, and electrophysiology studies
- Uses ultrasound and IVL/Shockwave equipment
- Monday to Friday day shift schedule (5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM), with potential for 4x10 schedule
- On call required every other or every third week (7 days on, 7 days off)
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT R certification and BLS required
- ACLS certification preferred
- TX license required (license required if applicable)
- RCIS certification cannot be accepted in place of ARRT/TX license requirement
- Previous travel experience required
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including pacemaker insertions and electrophysiology studies
- Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results
- Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen prior to arrival onsite
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- First-time travelers may be considered given strong travel experience preference
