Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Work in the 4B Surgical unit of a Level 1 trauma center hospital environment
• Patient population includes urology, gynecology, orthopedic, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular cases
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Traveler expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling generally not approved

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical specialty required
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments with high patient volume and diverse, severe cases required
• Experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals not accepted
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current certifications and certification cards required for consideration
• Nursys license verification required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to a diverse med/surg patient population in a high-acuity, inner-city trauma center
• No RTO permitted during this assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as the travel rate
• Work history/resume must not include gaps greater than 60 days
