Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a Level 2 Trauma Center requiring IL RN licensure and at least 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a 30-bed Emergency Department with 27 medical beds and 3 ED Psych beds
- Average daily census of 120 patients, ranging from 100-140
- Staffing based on ADC with various shift ranges using POD nursing model
- Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 2 Stroke Center
- Chest Pain accredited facility with a full treatment center for Sexual Assault Survivors
- 12-hour night shifts
- EPIC EMR used for charting
- Acute care setting
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
- BSN not required for this position
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care across medical and psychiatric ED patients
- 4 hours of billable computer modules required prior to start, delivered the week before the assignment begins
- This is an immediate need and candidates must be able to start ASAP
