Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a MedSurg ICU position requiring prior ICU experience and current ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 32-bed MedSurg ICU (MSICU) unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Unit staffed by RNs, nurse externs, and a free-floating charge RN
• Uses Philips monitors and Alaris pumps
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Floating required per hospital needs
• Performs procedures including CRRT, intubations, and line placements

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to MedSurg ICU patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions
• Unit has received multiple Daisy Award honors, including a Team Daisy Award
• Newly renovated unit featuring new bedside monitors and updated equipment in every room
• Required dress code of navy blue or black scrubs
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
