Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MA RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:00
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only)
- 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
- Record patients' medical information, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Modify patient treatment plans based on patient response and condition
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
