Description
American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Nursing Emergency Department setting
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:00
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA preferred)
- Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and age-specific patient care
Additional Information
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
- Record vital signs and patient medical information accurately
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the care team
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care plans
- Modify treatment plans based on patient responses and conditions
- Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions
- Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
