Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT-CT certification to perform a range of general, vascular, and body imaging procedures.
Details
- Work within the CT/Radiology department in an Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and Level II Trauma Center setting
- Average daily caseload of 40 patients
- Choice of 4x10 shifts (Mon-Thu) or 3x12 shifts (Fri-Sun), days 10:00 AM-8:30 PM
- Uses PACS and GE CT equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
- Potential but unlikely floating within scope to meet facility needs
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT-CT and BLS certification required
- ARRT-R certification preferred
- Oregon state license required if applicable
- Pending state license accepted
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in general, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, and vascular CT imaging
- Experience with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement
- Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
- Ability to work independently
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Local candidates not accepted; must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility with proof of address
- RTO limited to 7 total days within the 13-week assignment
- Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies, including vascular CTA and trauma imaging
- Candidates should be prepared for annual specialty-specific orientation modules
