Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring NV licensure and a minimum of two years of OR experience.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Supports a wide range of surgical specialties including Urology, Plastics, ENT, Vascular, Ortho, GYN, General, Robotics, and Spine/Neuro
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call expectations include a late shift covering 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM (average of 2 per month)
• On-call coverage 7 days a week from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM (average of 3 per month)
• Saturday call coverage from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM (average of 3 per month)
• Call assignments are managed through a point-based system
• Hours are not guaranteed for this position

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum of one year of OR experience required, with two or more years strongly preferred
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties preferred

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Blocked scheduling (grouped shifts) may potentially be accommodated
• Candidates with only one year of experience may require additional training and are not the preferred fit
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this role due to training needs
