Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work in the Med/Surg Tele (MS/Tele) unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Will consider straight 48s or 36/48 alternating schedules
- 13-week assignment length
- Required to float to other med/surg/tele units as assigned
- Cerner charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
- Candidates should avoid any products that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
