Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring recent L&D or OR circulator experience and telemetry interpretation skills.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit
• 12-hour AM day shifts, 7a-7:30p, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Must be able to circulate and scrub in the OR
• Primary newborn RN experience for transition from delivery preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• High-risk obstetrics experience preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum 2 recent years of L&D RN experience or OR circulator experience required
• CNM experience will not be considered
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course required, AWHONN preferred
• Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course preferred
• Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Must pass telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Labor and Delivery unit, including circulating and scrubbing in the OR when needed
• Support newborn transition care following delivery
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating every-other-holiday basis
