Description

American Traveler is hiring an outpatient CT Technologist requiring at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT and CT license certification.

Details

Outpatient clinic setting focused on outpatient and urgent care patient types
Average daily census of 30-40 patients, with each tech handling 16-20 patients
10-hour mid shift schedule, Friday through Monday, 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Weekend rotation every other weekend unless assigned as the dedicated weekend tech
Potential to float to the hospital if agreeable
Uses Epic EMR and Philips CT equipment
Front desk support and a second CT tech overlap when possible

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
Current BLS and ARRT certification required
CT license required if applicable
Independent IV start skills required
Must be able to work independently as this is an independent shift with no formal training provided for first-time travelers

Additional Information

Perform CT imaging and independent IV starts in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Approximately 2 days of precepted orientation provided
Travelers expected to work 75% of holidays
Scrub color is flexible
Free parking available onsite
Department culture described as hardworking, kind, and adaptable
First-time travelers will not be considered due to the independent nature of the role
