Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a compact or Iowa RN license and prior deep cardiac and cardiac drips experience.
Details
- Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 36 or 48 hour weekly schedule
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active IA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Deep cardiac experience required
- Cardiac drips experience required
- Mandatory reporter certification required
- One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the last 2 years of employment required
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Provide and manage patient care across the Med/Surg unit
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Holiday coverage required, with travelers expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Limited to 1 day off request during the periods of 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2, regardless of holidays worked
- Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for submission
