Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a freestanding Emergency Room setting, requiring ARRT CT certification and a valid Washington state license.

Details

• Work in a freestanding Emergency Department setting
• Adult acute care and outpatient CT patient population
• Staffing ratio of 1 CT tech per 16 beds
• Procedures include abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast, chest with and without contrast, head and neck imaging, cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine, musculoskeletal trauma, brain perfusion, and vascular CTA
• Uses PACS and Siemens CT equipment
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating between units required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Current ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid Washington state license required (license required if applicable)
• Prior travel experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Peripheral IV insertion skills preferred
• Emergency Department experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine studies with and without contrast
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed
• Travelers should be prepared to float within the facility as needed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Former Providence staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, as post-submission requests may not be accommodated
