Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring ARRT(MR) certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with MRI unit located on the 1st floor
• 1 MRI unit at Main Campus with Mobile and Open MRI available at an outpatient Imaging Center
• Cardiac imaging competency preferred
• Equipment includes GE MRI at Main Campus, GE Mobile MRI, and Open Hitachi MRI
• Common cases include stroke rule-out and MRI with anesthesia
• Uses Cerner EHR system
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekend call rotation required for STAT imaging requests, including Friday nights and Saturday/Sunday coverage
• Potential to float to outpatient imaging center approximately 5 minutes from Main Campus

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT and MR certification required
• Cerner EHR experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Facility is a 355-bed hospital home to a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU
• Any scrub color accepted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
