Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT certification and prior travel experience for a community hospital primary PCI facility

Details

• Work in 2 brand-new Phillips Azurion Cath Labs at a community hospital primary PCI facility serving a 340,000+ population region
• Case volume consists mainly of cardiac and peripheral interventions, CRM devices, and approximately 4 EP cases per month
• Structural heart procedures are not currently performed at this facility
• Uses GE MacLab for monitoring and documentation
• 5 hospital-employed cardiologists work exclusively in these labs
• Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8 schedule preferred, 4x10 may be considered)
• On-call rotation every other week or every third week (7 days on, 7 days off)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ARRT certification required
• TX state license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• CCI RCIS certification may be considered but ARRT and TX license are specifically required for this position
• Prior travel experience required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, Impella insertion, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, rotablator atherectomy, and electrophysiology studies
• Experience with ultrasound equipment and IVL/Shockwave technology
