Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN for a BMT Oncology unit requiring 1 year of recent specialty experience and ONC certification.
Details
- Hospital-based Med Surg/Tele unit specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology care
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted), with no certifications expiring within 30 days of start
- Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification required for all RNs working in Oncology
- NIH Stroke Certification required for BMT ICU RNs
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in BMT Oncology or related specialty required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients undergoing bone marrow transplant treatment
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
- One professional reference required for consideration
