Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of specialty experience and ARRT-CT certification for a Level 2 trauma center night shift position.
Details
- CT Scan department within a Level 2 trauma center
- Utilizes Siemens scanners
- Patient population includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Cases include trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine exams
- Serves emergency, inpatient, and outpatient patients
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Weekend shift coverage (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT specialty
- BLS certification required
- ARRT-CT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency with computerized tomography equipment for producing diagnostic imaging films
Additional Information
- Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for a wide range of patient populations and clinical scenarios
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested after
