Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3+ years of experience and BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit with 6 LDR beds
• Patient population includes antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal obstetrical care for pregnancies over 20 weeks
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• Floating to postpartum or nursery units required
• No call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 13-week assignment duration

Requirements

• Active RN license (State of OK or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide shift-based nursing care throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital policy and the state Nurse Practice Act
• Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe obstetrical care
• Delegate patient care responsibilities and provide direction and supervision to assigned staff as needed
• Maroon scrubs provided
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
