Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of specialty experience for a 13-week evening shift assignment at an acute care teaching hospital
Details
- Acute care teaching hospital setting with Level 4 trauma designation
- MRI department with 1 room and an average daily caseload of 12 patients
- Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM on a blocked schedule
- On-call required every Wednesday 11:00 PM-6:30 AM and every 3rd weekend
- Occasional weekend coverage as needed per department needs
- Will float between two sister campuses as needed based on facility needs
- Uses Epic (Excellian) for charting
- Utilizes a 1.5T Siemens Avanto MRI scanner
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist required
- ARRT-R and BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience across outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU settings required
- IV start skills required
- Experience with 1.5T Siemens Avanto scanner required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Additional Information
- Perform MRI imaging procedures across a variety of patient care settings including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency departments
- Dark gray scrubs required
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Local candidates accepted for this radiology position
- Returning staff must have been separated from a permanent staff or per diem role for at least 3 months before starting a travel assignment
- RTO requests ideally should not exceed 5 days during the assignment
