Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of recent diagnostic radiology experience to support a busy hospital radiology department covering OR, fluoro, portables, ED, and x-ray.
Details
- Hospital-based Diagnostic Radiology department
- Duties include OR cases, fluoro cases, portables, ED coverage, and general x-rays
- Uses Cerner EMR
- 13-week contract assignment
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in diagnostic radiology
- Current AHA BLS certification
- ARRT (Rad Tech) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to assist with OR cases, fluoro cases, and general x-rays in a fast-paced setting
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
- Requires 100% credentialing completed prior to start with no exceptions or conditional starts
- RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested afterward
- First-time travelers may be considered
