Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) certification and 2+ years of experience for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• MRI Tech unit within a hospital radiology/cardiology department
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, weekdays, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• No call or weekend requirements

Requirements

• ARRT(MR) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• 18 months of recent experience in the specialty preferred, ideally within the last 3 years
• License required if applicable
• One professional reference required from a direct supervisor, ANM, or director in the applicable specialty

Additional Information

• EKG and pharmacology testing required during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts per test and no remediation for retesting
• Study materials provided for orientation testing
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem staff cannot return to the facility for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed during interview and submitted at time of application
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Smoke-free facility with a strict no call-in policy
