Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week Days assignment requiring 1+ years of experience and a National/OK state OT license.

Details

• Hospital-based Occupational Therapy department setting
• Focus on Swing Bed patients with minimal outpatient caseload
• Patient ratio of 1:1, seeing 6-10 patients per day
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Cerner EMR used

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license required, National/OK state license required if applicable
• Minimum 1+ years of recent experience required
• Geriatric or swing bed experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Facilitate development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients to maximize functional status
• Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs
• Participate in discharge planning and performance improvement initiatives
• Perform administrative duties and pursue ongoing professional growth
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• RTO blackout dates apply from 6/1/26 to 6/12/26
• Does not accept local candidates within 50-mile radius
• Not eligible for candidates who worked as perm staff at this facility or health system within the past 2 years
