Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring recent L&D or OR circulator experience and EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Labor and Delivery department with 9 labor rooms, 2 operating and recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms
• High-volume unit with approximately 3,000 deliveries per year
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7:30a, on a 36-hour weekly schedule
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required, with NRP not expiring during the assignment
• Minimum 2 recent years of L&D RN experience or OR circulator experience required
• CNM experience will not be considered in lieu of required experience
• Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Must pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
• Evidence of completed Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required, AWHONN preferred
• High-risk obstetrics experience preferred
• Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume labor and delivery unit
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
