Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of critical care/ventilator experience, including neonatal and pediatric care, for a hospital day shift position in Colorado.
Details
- Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy position
- Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and all levels of acuity
- Work a 3-day, 12-hour day shift schedule with weekend rotation
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; CRT not accepted
- Minimum 5 years of experience required
- Critical care and ventilator management experience required
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care experience required
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
- Current, active Colorado RT license (DORA-RT) required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- License required if applicable
- Proof of flu vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Deliver respiratory care and diagnostic procedures across the full range of patient ages and acuity levels
- Candidate must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Housing may be available for rent directly through the facility for travelers during their assignment
