Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license and previous Cath Lab experience with call coverage responsibilities.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital environment
- 13-week contract assignment
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekday and weekend call coverage required, generally 6-7 shifts within a 4-week period
Requirements
- Active CA RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Certifications must be issued by AHA or ARC
- Previous Cath Lab experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Valid Nursys license verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius to be eligible for the local rate
- Local candidates are accepted at the local rate
- Returning staff or travelers must have a separation period of at least 1 year before returning
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted per contract
- Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract
- Observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- Holiday periods begin at 7:00 PM the night before and end at 7:00 AM the day after the holiday
- Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
- 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
- Any background or licensure hits must be disclosed and approved by facility HR prior to proceeding
