Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and at least 1-2 years of ICU experience.
Details
- Work in the ICU/Rehab Unit of a regional health center
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- Every other weekend required
- Monday or Tuesday start dates accommodated
Requirements
- Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) currently in hand
- AHA certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, though 1 year with travel experience may be considered
- Iowa SING background check required, including both criminal and child abuse portions, with no exceptions
- All background checks (county and state level) must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide-only searches not accepted
- Mandatory reporter certification required (both Child and Adult)
- 10-panel drug screening required, including opiates
- Titers required within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing services within an acute rehabilitation and ICU setting
- Facility offers a wide range of services including emergency medicine, critical care, medical/surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, and specialty services such as cardiac catheterization and wound care
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
- First-time travelers with qualifying experience may be considered
