Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of specialty experience and ARRT-R certification for a Level II Trauma Center.
Details
- Acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma Center designation
- 258 staffed beds
- Work in adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings
- Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- May float within scope to an affiliate campus as needed
- Open to block scheduling
- Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR
- Uses PACS and Siemens equipment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT specialty
- Current BLS and ARRT-R certification required; license required if applicable
- Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma and community hospital experience preferred
- Epic/Excellian charting experience required
- Proficient in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
- Experience with special procedures including biopsies, aspirations, drainage, CTA, and PET CT
- Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
- Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position
- Local candidates accepted for this radiology position without radius restriction
- Returning employees must have a break of at least 3 months since their last shift worked as staff or per diem
- Ideally no more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment
- Grey scrub color required
- No parking fees at this facility
- May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
