Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and required Trauma Level II experience for a 14-week night shift assignment.
Details
- Community hospital setting with Trauma Level II experience required and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Rotating schedule of X-Ray on Sunday and CT Monday through Wednesday
- 4x8 hour night shifts from 22:30 to 07:00
- No call requirements
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU work settings
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT R certification and BLS required; ARRT CT preferred
- Professional license required if applicable, and must be active at time of submission
- Community hospital experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Skills in abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast, chest CT with and without contrast, head and neck CT with and without contrast
- Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma
- Vascular CTA experience required; biopsy experience preferred
- Proficiency with contrast media preparation and administration
- GE and Philips equipment experience preferred
- PACS system experience required
- Additional skills in Operating Room/C-Arm and ICU/Portables; Meditech experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, which must be finalized at time of submission
- If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested
- If three major holidays fall during the assignment, one holiday RTO request may be considered
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Former Piedmont perm, per diem, or FCSS staff must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who cancelled or received a Piedmont DNR must complete one assignment outside of Piedmont before reapplying
