Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring 2 years of PICU experience and a MA RN license.
Details
- Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) at a hospital setting with a Trauma Level I designation
- Care for pediatric patients requiring ventilator management, inotropy, and central line management
- Additional patient populations may include Pediatric CVICU, Neurologic, and Post neurosurgery cases
- 13-week assignment with Night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00) or Day shift (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00) options
- Every other weekend required, or every third weekend with minimal RTO
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required to CICU, MSICU, and NICU as needed
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required
- Experience with ventilator management, inotropy, and central lines required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients including respiratory and cardiovascular care
- Care for patients with Congenital Heart Disease/Repair
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates accepted at a rate differential within 50 miles of the facility
- Two verified professional references required from two different facilities among the last three places worked
