Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS) with congenital cath/EP experience across pediatric and adult populations for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Congenital cardiac cath lab providing both Cath and EP care
- Patient population spans neonates to adults, requiring both pediatric and adult experience
- 4x10 hour day shifts with variable scheduling
- Overnight and weekend on-call coverage required on a rotating basis
- 40 hours per week over a 13-week contract
- Float requirement per facility policy
- Enable local rate available within a 50-mile radius
Requirements
- RCIS or ARRT certification required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Technology or Cath Lab required
- Previous travel experience required
- Florida state license required if ARRT certified (license required if applicable)
- Proficiency in PCI, Impella, IABP, Interventional Cardiology, and Heart Failure patient management required
- Experience with Temp Pacers and structural procedures such as Watchman preferred
- Peripheral experience preferred
- No unexplained employment gaps over 30 days
- No break in non-clinical employment of 180 days or longer
- At least 1 reference dated within the last 12 months required
Additional Information
- Unit Manager will conduct interviews
- Facility-issued scrubs provided
- FL ACHA licensing may take up to 14 business days to process from time of receipt
- No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- Maximum of 8 days RTO allowed for submission on this 13-week contract
- Seasonal influenza vaccination required for 2026-2027 season, with medical exemption requests allowed
- Candidates declining the flu vaccine must complete an educational module
- First-time travelers will not be considered given the previous travel experience requirement
