Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interim Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position in a long-term care setting, requiring an active RN license and prior leadership experience.
Details
- Long-term care (post-acute) facility setting
- Interim ADON role within LTC management
- Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the charting/EMR system
- Day shift schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM
- 8-hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
- On-call rotation required for weekend coverage
- Holiday coverage on a rotating basis
- 13-week assignment length
- Will work the floor as needed to cover shifts
Requirements
- Active RN license (ND or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
- BSN not required for this position
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Serve as Interim ADON, overseeing nursing operations and staffing coverage as needed
- Work within an 80-mile radius for local placement consideration
- Local candidates are accepted at an adjusted rate
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
