Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position on night shift, requiring 5+ years of experience and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Work on a 3400 Med-Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 18-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required
• Uses Meditech EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum of 5 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys license verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric Med-Surg patients
• Team player mentality with willingness to take ownership of the role
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Candidates cannot reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
