Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring current SC licensure and ASHA CCC certification.
Details
- Inpatient Rehab facility setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00am-4:30pm
- Possible requirement of one weekend per shift per month
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Radiation badge required
Requirements
- Current SC state SLP license required, if applicable
- BLS certification required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- At least 1 year of experience preferred, ideally in an inpatient rehab setting
- Prior travel healthcare experience required
Additional Information
- Misty gray scrub color required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Facility prioritizes non-local candidates within a 60-mile radius; locals not accepted
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration for the role
- Block scheduling accommodations may be requested but are not guaranteed
- During hurricane season (June through November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
