Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring an active MA license, 2+ years of similar ICU experience, and Epic proficiency.
Details
- ,Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital environment
- 12-hour rotating shifts covering both days (7a-7:30p) and nights (7p-7:30a)
- Straight day shifts are not accommodated
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Weekend rotation required every other weekend
- Required to float between ICU and IMCU as needed
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand
- Current BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ICU setting required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season
- COVID vaccine plus booster required (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including coverage in IMCU as needed
- Any color scrubs permitted
- Weekly orientation provided
- If working through the winter holiday season, coverage of 2 holidays is required
- Must complete Tele/ECG and Medication pass/fail testing
- Candidates must be separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months prior to consideration
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
