Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an inpatient acute care rehabilitation unit requiring OT certification.

Details

  • , within a 175-bed inpatient acute care hospital
  • Rehab Services department staffed by a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
  • Patient ratio of 8-10 patients daily
  • EPIC EMR used
  • Schedule consists of 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts on a rotating basis
  • Weekend rotation required, approximately 2-3 weekends per month
  • No on-call requirements
  • 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Current OT certification required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Acute care experience required
  • Independent working style preferred

Additional Information

  • Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to start
  • Olive/light green scrubs required
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
