Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with acute care experience for an inpatient rehabilitation unit requiring weekend rotation.
Details
- Inpatient acute care hospital rehabilitation unit
- Work alongside a therapy team of 60 providers including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
- Daily patient ratio of 8-10 patients
- Epic EMR used
- 4 day, 10 hour shifts on a rotating schedule including weekends
- Weekend rotation required, approximately 2-3 weekends per month
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active OT license required, if applicable
- Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the specialty
- Acute care experience required
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to starting
Additional Information
- Provide occupational therapy services within an inpatient acute care rehabilitation setting
- Best suited for independent, self-motivated professionals
- Olive green scrubs required for dress code
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
