Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an inpatient acute care rehabilitation unit requiring OT certification.
Details
- , within a 175-bed inpatient acute care hospital
- Rehab Services department staffed by a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
- Patient ratio of 8-10 patients daily
- EPIC EMR used
- Schedule consists of 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts on a rotating basis
- Weekend rotation required, approximately 2-3 weekends per month
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Current OT certification required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Independent working style preferred
Additional Information
- Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to start
- Olive/light green scrubs required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
