Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVICU RN for a night shift position requiring Day 0 CVICU experience and a CO or Compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the CVICU/CCU unit of a smaller independent hospital
- Care for cardiovascular ICU patients while also covering CCU needs
- Facility has 2 Cath Labs, including 1 Hybrid Cath Lab
- 12-hour night shift schedule (1900-0730) including weekend rotation
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Required to participate in call rotation, covering 1 call shift per 2-week period in place of guaranteed hours if requested due to staffing needs
- Guaranteed hours do not apply on holidays
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required, in good standing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of RN Critical Care experience required
- Strong CVICU skills required, including Day 0 CVICU experience
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
- CAPS (Colorado Adult Protective Services) registration required, which may take up to two weeks to obtain
- Correct SSN and DOB required for onboarding

- Provide critical care nursing support in a CVICU/CCU setting, helping community members heal close to home
- Facility located between Denver and Grand Junction along the I-70 Corridor
- Housing potential available near the hospital, including newly remodeled studio and 1-bedroom apartments with utilities and Wi-Fi included, subject to availability
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
