Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Telemetry for a Cardiology unit position requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of recent experience.
Details
- Work in the Cardiology unit of a hospital setting
- 13-week travel assignment with a 12-hour AM shift schedule
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required
- CVOR RN candidates must have 18 months minimum full-time experience within a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years, with strong endovascular experience and proficiency in cardiac and vascular procedures
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry nursing care within a cardiology unit setting
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
- Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time

The cause nobody stays in touch with you. Nobody tells you anything you are lost when you worked there when it comes to information of things you should know as a Traveler when it comes to who to talk to in the department on different things it’s just all jacked up so just be mindful. It is a great place to work but at the same time management is not always around to help
