Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a night shift position in Bettendorf, IA, requiring an Iowa or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Details

• Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a Level 3 trauma center hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 basis
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Unit administers drips including heparin, cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amio

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN license or compact RN license required
• Active Illinois RN license also required at time of offer
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all AHA)
• Epic EMR experience required
• One supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within the last 2 years required
• Driver's license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required
• Not eligible if employed by the facility's health system within the last 12 months
• New grads accepted
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Provide care management for Med Surg/Telemetry patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
