Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with a 150 staffed-bed facility
- Cardiac Cath Lab supporting coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia cases
- Daily caseload of 8-12 patients
- Procedures include coronary diagnostic and interventional cases, peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases, and permanent pacemaker insertions
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend requirement
- No floating requirement
- Call requirement
- Epic EMR used, experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab procedures required
- Current ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS certifications required
- Fluoroscopy Permit required (pending permits considered if already applied for at time of submission)
- License required if applicable
- RCIS not accepted as a substitute for ARRT certification
- CCI RCIS certification preferred, or RCIS acceptable with 5+ years of experience
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and pacemaker insertion required
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, equipment set up, and maintaining sterile field preferred
- Experience in EP studies, vascular procedures, and interventional radiology preferred

- Perform accurate patient monitoring, equipment setup, and sterile field maintenance during procedures
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and vascular procedures

- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates accepted
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Former employees of the facility may return after a 3-month waiting period
- RTO requests must be approved at time of submission
- Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff
- Located near multiple state and national parks, offering outdoor recreational opportunities
