Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with a 150 staffed-bed facility
• Cardiac Cath Lab supporting coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia cases
• Daily caseload of 8-12 patients
• Procedures include coronary diagnostic and interventional cases, peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases, and permanent pacemaker insertions
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend requirement
• No floating requirement
• Call requirement
• Epic EMR used, experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab procedures required
• Current ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Fluoroscopy Permit required (pending permits considered if already applied for at time of submission)
• License required if applicable
• RCIS not accepted as a substitute for ARRT certification
• CCI RCIS certification preferred, or RCIS acceptable with 5+ years of experience
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and pacemaker insertion required
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, equipment set up, and maintaining sterile field preferred
• Experience in EP studies, vascular procedures, and interventional radiology preferred

• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
