Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med Surg Ortho unit of a hospital setting
• 29-bed unit with capacity to overflow adult patients into pediatrics for a total of 39 beds
• Typical patient ratio of 5:1
• Care for post-op surgical patients and those on cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin
• Uses remote telemetry monitoring equipment
• EMR system is Meditech
• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg RN experience required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
