Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Tele Float for a teaching hospital position requiring Epic experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Tele Float unit of an acute care teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
• 317 staffed beds
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Can also work med/surg as needed
• 4x12 day shifts (7:00-19:30) or night shifts (19:00-7:30)
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals to meet facility needs
• Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care with cross-training to med/surg patient populations as needed
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months prior to starting
• RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days
