Description

American Traveler is hiring a Day CT/X-Ray Technologist with 1+ years of independent experience in diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging.

Details

• Diagnostic imaging department within a hospital setting
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, working 5x8-hour shifts
• Shared call rotation including occasional evenings and weekends
• Provides X-ray coverage in the OR as needed
• Duties include routine diagnostic X-ray, CT imaging, trauma imaging, IV contrast administration, and mobile/portable bedside imaging
• Uses Siemens CT equipment (preferred experience)
• Requires flexibility to support OR and overall department staffing needs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT license; ARRT (CT) preferred
• State of Maine license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Recent experience working independently in both diagnostic X-ray and CT
• Proficiency using multiple computer systems
• Ability to perform IV contrast administration and mobile/portable bedside imaging
