Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of Acute Rehab or Acute Care experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Sacramento, CA.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 52 beds
- Speech Therapy department within Therapy Services
- Treats patients with TBI, SCI, and orthopedic trauma diagnoses
- Caseload of 4-5 patients per day with 6 hours of treatment time daily
- Cerner EHR system used for documentation
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- Weekend hours available on request
- No call requirements
- No float requirements
Requirements
- Current California SLP license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Acute Rehab or Acute Care setting required
Additional Information
- Provide intensive, patient-focused rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Work within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program aimed at maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life
- No scrub color requirement
- Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
- Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
