Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Birth RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of labor experience and C-EFM and NRP certifications.

Details

• Family Birth Place unit with 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum, and 4 pre/post beds
• Patient ratios of approximately 1:1 or 2:1
• Uses external fetal monitoring equipment
• EPIC EMR system
• Night shift, 3x12, 19:00-07:00
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• May be required to float to postpartum unit

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Required certifications: BLS, C-EFM, and NRP
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required
• Experience at a hospital delivering 350-400 births monthly required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted, though bill rate is reduced for those within 50 miles of the facility
• Subcontractor staff residing within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius
• First-time travelers may be considered
